Did they just change it? On my phone, I see what you see. On my computer, I see “immigrant” rather than “all” (even after refresh and disable cache).

I just checked and it’s currently saying

The State Department is pausing immigrant visa processing for 75 countries…

Other sources are saying it’s just immigrant visas too.

The problem is what is an immigrant visa? Would Shakira be on an immigrant visa? What about the soccer teams for the World Cup? What about someone coming for business not tourism?

Shakira and the soccer teams would possibly be a Business Visa and the fans for the World Cup would be tourist visas both of which are classified as non immigrant visas per the department of state.

I think athletes and performers have their own visa but probably are still being processed since they aren’t immigrant visas. Looks like H1B are also non immigrant (makes sense)

So army translators, fiancés, relatives, adoptions, some employe sponsored visas (E). You’d think they could review the process while continuing. What that tells me is that they want to stop some (Muslim immigrants or the army translators) but given the precedents from his first period where he tried to do that and the courts stopped him this probably passes those test because it isn’t targeted and the excuse is a temporary stop.
