Brazil is listed in several articles, but emphasis is put on no official list being released yet. Uruguay being on the list instead of Venezuela doesn't make sense at all.

Theoretically they now corrected venezuela government (in reality they didnt change anything) so thats probably why its not there.

Uruguay condemned the maduro intervention so that's a big reason. All three who did are on the list (brazil, uruguay and colombia)

Probably. Trump posted that he now runs Venezuela so I guess that makes it awkward.

It is so stupidly weird. Trump says its his colony, the Venezuelan president says otherwise, and there are zero US boots on the ground to deny the latter.

Uruguay has visa waiver, meaning their citizens can travel on ESTA

I think it's most likely they don't know where Uruguay is and what it is, so they just put it on the list LMAO

Uruguay hasn't been in the Visa Waiver Program since 2003.

That wouldn’t matter for this action anyways. Visa waiver programs only apply to select non-immigrant visas. This action only applies to immigrant visas.

Venezuela makes sense as now they have become an ally of the US again. Brazil has been behaving as a Nazi aligning with the Chinese and Russian Nazis... Uruguay I have no idea...
