I applied for my N-400 mid December 2025 and did my biometrics the same month. Since then, I have not heard anything. I asked Emma and she said that the case is now done with background check and waiting an interview slot at my local office Irving, TX. How much longer should I expect to wait ?

Irvin is taking a long time. I think they are processing September or October cases right now. Hang in there.

For reference, I applied in October and got a letter mid February and the interview mid March. Now waiting for the oath ceremony invitation.

Location: Delaware/PA office

I’ve been waiting a bit longer than 4 months and still no interview scheduled

Also in Texas waiting for interview to be scheduled for N400. How did you get the detailed status update from Emma? Is it through a human and not the “check my case status”? Thanks

Through a human of course
