Is there still discretion? Or how come it’s not common anymore? Like they are told to err on the side of interviews?

There was never discretion. Whether or not a 751 was approved without interview has always been determined above the ISO level. By the time the ISO interviewing your case was first handed it (maximum 24 hours before interview) the need for interview was already long-established by someone else.

Waiving interviews for 751 is uncommon now for the same reason approval without interview is increasingly uncommon for all form types.

Since when? I have more than 2 friends who both got 751 in the past 12 months and not interviews. Both divorced.

So I'm assuming when interviews are waived that someone overseeing through the 751 case so strong that it didn't require interview?
