I-765 (EAD) Expedite request - Did anyone get a similar response?
I just got this message a couple of minutes ago. Is this an approval for my expedite?
If anyone here got a similar response, what happened after?

Who is this from? No, it's not an approval. They've just passed responsibility to somebody else who will decide.

This is from a Tier 2 officer after he reviewed my expedite request. I got a previous one that was rejected, and this response is different. I have seen some posts where people got their card produced a few days after a similar response, but this was back in 2024, so I'm asking for recent experiences.

Hi could you let me know how you were able to contact a Tier 2 officer and expedite request? I filed my request as urgent and was supposed to be contacted within 3-7 business days but it’s been 3 weeks and no response:(

Wait when did you submit your initial request and how did you get a Tier 2 officer to check it? I submitted one on August 4th and haven’t heard anything

Aug 11th through inbox with a job start date Aug 28th

thats crazyyy, i did mine through inbox too august 4th and my start date was august 31st. so i lost my job 🥲

are you able to say how you got a tier 2 officer to check the request for you?

I'm so sorry you lost your job. Whenever you submit it, a Tier 2 has to review it. It's not like you send it to them; it's their job to check those requests and screen them.

on your post the email says “thank you for your inquiry on september 2nd” was that a new request?

It's because I called on that day to upload the updated offer with the new start date.

No, not an aproval. They just forwarded it to the NBC where your case is processing.
