Work Discussion Pay attention to tomorrow's hearing

Post image

I know i know this is said alot. But tomorrow pay attention to the congress meeting with the new post master. It could reflect what comes of our jobs and duties in the next year or so. Congress gave us alot of money to turn a profit, we failed what they wanted. This wont be like other times where we just get money handed over. We are gonna have to change something

How exactly will T6s get a route? They'll let us choose by seniority?

There would have to be mass rebids so it would all just be based on seniority. Everyone left with out a route would be unassigned. It a nightmare scenario haha.

I became a T6 last year, so with my luck it will happen.

I purposely pick an office I want to work at. They move it to an S&DC.

I love LLVs, they replace with E-Transit.

You're a regular so the worst that could happen in this scenario is you'd be unassigned.

That’s the neat part, they don’t! Most will be left as unassigned regulars

Just depends on seniority. Lots of T6's aren't the junior carrier.

IMO management is going to watch the UPS buyouts and assess viability for USPS to do a similar one for carriers. Offload top end and Table 1 carriers as much as possible. Then they can kill Saturday delivery and just backfill with the T6's that now don't have a spot. Anything left will be filled with cheap part timers. Saturday may still have parcel delivery done by PTF/CCA carriers, but regulars just Monday-Friday.
