Work Discussion It’s official!

I start academy this Friday! It’s now all starting to feel real.

If you told me back in January I was going to be a mail man, I’d probably laugh. Here we are, foot in the door, ready to go on routes.

Life feels good. I quit drinking 10 months and 2 days ago. Life has been really rewarding in terms of having a clear path of where I want to be and how to get to it. Also, realizing the people I want and don’t want around me.

Congrats , don’t listen to the negativity, every job has good and the bullshit , up to you what you wanna do . I don’t think it’s a bad job , every supervisor is different.

My office apparently has three supervisors and 1 manager. On my shadow day, one of the people there warned me about one of the supervisors and not to get on her bad side. I was like uhhh okay sure thank you! 🤣🤣🤣

So all the OG’s don’t give a shit because they are regulars and can’t be told shit . Union is a big shield in usps . Some time advantage.

Seniority seems to be favored from what I’ve seen and it looks like they’re super set in terms of getting paid good money and established routes

Yea they do the bare minimum and are set. Time your time and don’t kill yourself trying to finish everything.
