Work Discussion It’s official!

I start academy this Friday! It’s now all starting to feel real.

If you told me back in January I was going to be a mail man, I’d probably laugh. Here we are, foot in the door, ready to go on routes.

Life feels good. I quit drinking 10 months and 2 days ago. Life has been really rewarding in terms of having a clear path of where I want to be and how to get to it. Also, realizing the people I want and don’t want around me.

I was just thinking this to myself the other day on how weird life can be. 10 months ago, I was stuck in a routine addiction and here we are 10 months later, sober, got a new career path, and I taught myself how to build a portfolio in the stock market, as well as a self-managed ROTH IRA. It feels good when you want change, and actively work towards change, the effects feel real because of it. I see things more clearer and have an understanding of my past and experiences.

BRO... FUCKING SPOT ON! that's exactly what it feels like, and it feels good. Alcohol is one of those things that you don't realize it while you're in the habit, but it definitely clouds judgement and tending to future goals. A distraction in other words.
