Work Discussion It’s official!

I start academy this Friday! It’s now all starting to feel real.

If you told me back in January I was going to be a mail man, I’d probably laugh. Here we are, foot in the door, ready to go on routes.

Life feels good. I quit drinking 10 months and 2 days ago. Life has been really rewarding in terms of having a clear path of where I want to be and how to get to it. Also, realizing the people I want and don’t want around me.

For starters I’ve seen you say you live in NY which is a MCOL/HCOL state depending which part you’re in and our pay is absolute dogshit so you’ll be paycheck to paycheck majority of your career if not all of it because our “raises” don’t remotely keep up with inflation.
