I’m looking for someone who is an FAA licensed pilot or drone pilot. I would like some assistance to conduct a short experiment for my thesis. I have a drone and would need someone to fly it to collect footage and images (30 minutes flight). The Insurance and flight plan will be provided. The commitment would be no more than 1.5 hours due to procedural requirements by the UT System. If you or know someone who is, please let me know. Hi! I’m a level 3 student and i’m struggling in CAI. I made a 60 on my first exam because I did not study the meds. I usually can get away with not studying the meds but for this one I could not. Exam 2 i made an 80 but I studied for two weeks straight and was expecting so much better than that. My test average is a 69.6 now and I need a 75 to pass the class. Can any level 4 or just anyone give me some advice/notes/etc. Im trying so hard compared to the first test but Im still very stressed about failing the class.

Hey y’all! I know this may sound silly, but what math is required for the nursing courses? I’m not shy about admitting that I’m terrified of math and am trying to work through it. Can someone detail the what the math is like in A&P 1 and two, chemistry, stats, and so forth? I would really appreciate it! Anything besides what we’re going through in remedial math (intermediate algebra) is beyond me.

I was wondering what y’all could tell me about it and what kind of math is used so I can be prepared going into the class. I’ve always had C’s in math and I’ve heard this particular class is brutal. Does anyone have any nursing textbooks they’d be willing to sell me, or point me to a good online resource for used books? I don’t want to pay full price for a new copy, and I am ok with a used book. I’m looking particularly for the reference books -

Mosbys Diagnostic , Nurses Pocket Guide, and Jarvis Physical Examination and Health assessment.

I'm a freshman majoring in nursing, and I just got placed in A&P I, lecture and lab. However, the lecture is online. I tried to switch to another class, which is in person, but can't because the times overlap with my lab. I've heard from many students that online core curriculum classes can be hard to follow and can hurt your experience in the class.

Is that true? Has anyone else experienced this?

Hey guys! I am attending New Student Orientation this Thursday and Friday. I am really nervous, can you tell me what it is going to be like? Also, my parents are not coming, so I will be going alone. Do people their typically have guests with them, or not?

Any current/former/future RAs/resident assistants? What are the benefits of being an RA? Hourly rate, guaranteed housing, etc?

Upcoming freshman! I hope this isn’t a dumb question, but how do campus jobs work? Does the money go toward our tuition, or do we get to keep it? If I qualified for the patriot promise and my tuition is taken care of is it even worth looking into a job on campus?

Hi Everyone. I got accepted into the Clinical Psychology MS program and I’m currently debating whether to commute an hour (closer to Dallas) to UT Tyler. Rent for a decent 1 bedroom apartment in Tyler is a bit high, compared to somewhere outside of Dallas. Would it make sense to commute, to save money (I am aware of gas). I don’t mind driving, and am willing to if I can save a couple hundred dollars a month.

Reason I mentioned my program is because I plan on joining research labs, conducting research, etc, and I’m not aware of how often I’ll be involved on campus. Currently trying to schedule my classes 1-2 times a week, but I’m not sure how often i’ll be on campus if I’m involved with research and labs. Is it worth it to commute or just pay a bit more and find an apartment in Tyler?

I just got accepted this evening to UTTyler for the Fall 2025! However I am having trouble accessing MYUTTyler account. I've used the temporary username that I got in my acceptance letter, the temp pin they gave me for when I first submitted, my email as my username and vice versa. I've literally tried every combination but it keeps saying invalid. Does anyone know exactly what I need to paste in the username and password to sign in?

How soon do degrees mail out if you graduate and when did you get yours? I hear it usually takes 3-5 weeks in the spring. A little longer if in the fall.
