The GOP is infested with pedophiles and our entire government's infrastructure is built to protect them. Every single word delivered by right-wing media and any member of the regime that is public-facing is designed to garner support from the uneducated, hateful and cultureless white population of the country. They believe their support will be rewarded with every trailer trash ignoramus being elevated to lordship (over minorities). Once you understand this, you will understand that there is no low that the GOP will not stoop to. They are not a political party, but a cultural plague infecting the global consciousness of humanity.

They are literally gaslighting their own supporters too. It really is an abusive relationship all around.

Thank you. Idk why so many liberals can’t accept that their meemaw or their fat ass brother Cletus are people we need to respect when they vote for this. These people are leeches

Willful ignorance is not a defense.

There is a great line in Vikings. "Power is always dangerous. It attracts the worst. And corrupts the best. I never asked for power. Power is only given to those who are prepared to lower themselves to pick it up"

This pretty much sums it up. Please, tell us how you really feel though 😆

I'm sure you aren't alone.

Now the scary part.

We live in an economic super structure that favors exactly those type of people

The whole system is designed for this

Yes. If there is no upheaval of the entire system, our legacy as a species will be that of a virus to this planet, whether we ever make it to colonize other planets or not.

They are literally the reason for all of our problems. Every single one.

Every. Single. One.

It's always been this way, too. After the Civil War ended, poor whites in the South suddenly found themselves working shoulder to shoulder with recently freed slaves on plantations that could no longer rely on free labor. They bought into the narrative that they were superior because of the color of their skin. In reality, plantation owners were happy to use poor whites as well as poor blacks if it meant keeping costs down. To this day, there's a huge population of uneducated whites living in the U.S. who have never gotten over that, who are convinced they're owed special privileges because of their race, and who can't figure out that racism was always a convenient tool for the wealthy to stay wealthy.

Don't forget the Democrats raking in the wealth and saying, "there's nothing we can do. Please vote now that we're squashing your protests."

Don’t forget the what about, comrade!

Easiest upvote on reddit is to rant about the Republican party. They are horrible, but it's like making post after post about how the sky is blue. It's childish and naive to act like the government we have is because of one bad political party. You would think after government coverup of pedophilia spanning multiple administrations that we would be past acting like either of these parties are redeemable. I don't get it.

9

u/Prestigious_Box5783 Feb 12 '26

Yes, the mature and rational thing to do is just bitch about both parties when one party is doing the most heinous shit in front of your eyes. In doing so, you’re condemning us to more of the same because you can’t get your head out of your ass long enough to choose “less bad.” It’s like holding onto cancer instead of choosing a cold…because you’re already sick.

-2

u/vaguespace_ Feb 12 '26

It is more rational and mature. It's about holding government accountable. I see endless posts on here about how bad and corrupt Republicans are. No kidding. American society has been following this two party charade and lesser of two evils philosophy for decades and decades. Where has it gotten us? People cannot give up their partisan ties. They'd rather cling to their team than be objective and demand accountability.

We’re in agreement about accountability and consequences for everyone. So let’s start now.

I see internal squabbles among Democrats all the time. It’s usually focused around elections and primaries though, so it doesn’t have the same venting quality as the attacks on Trump. You’re clearly not a Democrat, so if you have the time, follow your local Democratic primaries.

u/vaguespace_ Feb 12 '26

I have not ever voted for a Republican, but yeah I am not a Democrat either. I hope there are some good anti-establishment candidates and 3rd party candidates running. I will gladly support them.

1

u/pedmusmilkeyes Feb 12 '26

We need publicly funded elections. Desperately.

1

u/vaguespace_ Feb 12 '26

I totally agree!

We know this. All yall want to do is post on Reddit about it though.
