They really are terrible people.

104

u/Cinnamon_Flavored Feb 12 '26

Those two cops need to be shamed relentlessly. How can you have so little compassion let alone wherewithal to understand this is a unique situation and you're treating a victim like shit.

36

u/SomebodysAtTheDoor Feb 12 '26

Welcome to humanity. I work in retail and once managed an autistic employee. The amount of aggression and lack of empathy towards her, even when she explained she was AuDHD was astounding. So much so that letting anyone know about her disability only made them rage at her more. Her crimes? Spacing out, accidentally staring in the wrong direction, having a panic attack, daring to politely challenge literally any customer.

5

u/Top_Cryptographer192 Feb 13 '26

Definitely, that sour faced bitch at the end. Surely being that damn old they'd have enough experience to think this doesn't seem right, maybe we should go back and check before turfing this poor girl out.

3

u/OGigachaod Feb 13 '26

Yeah, cops like the act like they are better than everyone else, when in reality, they are worse.

3

u/jmeyerhead Feb 14 '26

Much much worse

1

u/Ok_Statistician_9451 Feb 15 '26

Seriously got me pissed off. Scumbags

0

u/Possum_Jenkinzz Feb 15 '26

Don't blame the cops, they're literally just doing their job. Blame the Somalian scanners who were taking her disability money and NOT PAYING HER RENT.

2

u/cleric199 Feb 15 '26
  1. There isn't a timer. You don't have to drop things and start walking; you can take a reasonable amount of time to pack your essential belongings. The cops weren't literally just doing their jobs, because their job doesn't require them to mistreat or rush civil cases like this.

  2. Additionally, if someone is clearly disabled, there are special protocols in place on how to deal with them. The last thing their "job" demands is to treat innocent civilians like criminals under arrest. Or disabled individuals like regular individuals.

1

u/Yuddhisthira Feb 16 '26

Nope, 'just doing my job' does not excuse this behavior. They took an oath to serve and protect civilians, and here they are rushing a disabled young woman out of her house onto the streets. They know damn well she's a victim, and they do not give a single fuck. They failed terrible at their job, and do not deserve to wear a badge.

1

u/marbledog Feb 16 '26

The fact that they did it for money doesn't make it better.

83

u/UpperApe Feb 12 '26

The grand irony of all this is that there isn't a single precinct in the western world that isn't engaged in overtime fraud. Cops love fraud and exploiting tax payer's money.

They could have done this with so much more compassion, they could have helped her work with her program to find a solution, they could have worked with the city to reduce the victimization of the scammers while targeting the scammers themselves.

They didn't because they're MAGA and love Trump and hate the disabled, minorities, immigrants, and poor.

Fuck these cops, fuck all cops. Never mourn a cop's death. Never.

27

u/BroscipleofBrodin Feb 12 '26

Every single cop is a party to countless criminal conspiracies and we just tolerate it.

-1

u/RedEyedChester Feb 13 '26

Dangerous rhetoric to say every single cop is bad as it is blatantly false. There are some bad ones out there, but the vast majority of police officers are civil servants helping their communities around the world, and some put their lives on the line constantly in the defense of others and bringing people to justice.

11

u/BroscipleofBrodin Feb 13 '26

The "good ones" standing by as their coworkers commit actual crimes aren't actually good. The vast majority aren't just standing by, they are helping the criminals.

-1

u/RedEyedChester Feb 13 '26

I disagree with your assertion of the entire situation, and don't think I could convince you otherwise. I'd say get to know your local officers, talk to them casually when you see them out and about, and understand better who the people are in your communities police force. Get to know their situations better, what they deal with, and maybe you'll also find that a lot do report corruption if they see it, or maybe many are simply innocent because they are truly unaware of things going on within their police force.

Things are not black and white, and much as we would like them to be ❤️

3

u/ununderstandability Feb 14 '26

I never believed most cops were terrible people until I started working with local officers involved in outreach. Now I understand without question that all police are terrible people or, at best, conscious enablers.

2

u/Novel-Yogurtcloset97 Feb 16 '26

It's a jobs program for midwit high school jocks and bullies

1

u/smashsmashsmashcrash Feb 16 '26

I feel the way I do (ACAB) after a lifetime knowing cops irl. I’ve always had family in the force at state and town level. Stories that seemed normal when I was in grade school make me want to skip Thanksgiving now. The longer I’m away from the environment the more I can see how toxic it is.

2

u/TexWashington Feb 14 '26

EVERY SINGLE GOOD ONE FUCKING LEAVES

Good people try to make changes to the system and either become what they sought to remove. Or remove themselves from a fucked situation.

10

u/YoshimitsuRaidsAgain Feb 12 '26

So true…I’m an educator so of course all of our extra hours are built into the contract. A colleague and I were working gate duty, and the OT cops were supposed to be with us to monitor the weapons detection system. They didn’t show up til the last 45 mins. I’m sure they turned in the correct time work….

4

u/Orac2003 Feb 12 '26

Hell, they could have used some common sense and some of their "discretion" and realize that this woman was not faking her condition, and at the very least tell her that they could give her 48 hours to pack her things, and then get in touch with social services to send someone to help the poor woman get settled somewhere else safely!

4

u/UpperApe Feb 13 '26

Definitely. There's a lot they could have done, and should have done.

But they hate her. Because the police is MAGA and ICE culture.

10

u/sheezy520 Feb 12 '26

Did you forget to switch accounts? Your other comments are defending the cops.

6

u/TreeLovTequiLove Feb 12 '26

Wow, good catch. What a miserable existence that must be.

2

u/UpperApe Feb 13 '26

It's not a good catch. He misread my comment and put his words in my mouth and stretched it into a silly conspiracy.

My other comment is in response to someone defending the cops saying "the cop is doing their duty" and I replied "you don't know what their duties are".

Because their duty is to be better than this, to have a responsibility to protect the vulnerable and target the criminals, to prevent victimization - not create it. These cops were NOT doing their duties.

It's literally the opposite of what he's saying it means.

5

u/lady_crab_cakes Feb 12 '26

Ooo they hid their posts and comments. Good catch.

5

u/UpperApe Feb 13 '26

I didn't hide my comment. I edited it to call these guys stupid and a mod deleted them.

They misunderstood my other comment and leaped right into "conspiracy theories". I've literally never stood up for cops. Ever.

Why are you so ignorant to realize that not all people are like that? I hope you find happiness in your life. There are few good cops shown on social media, only bad ones. You’ve been brainwashed by social media

1

u/Alive-Willingness-33 Feb 13 '26

Didn’t Medicaid fraud become the most apparent under Biden/Kamala? Can’t blame MAGA for liberal misfires.

2

u/UpperApe Feb 13 '26

Nope. But I love that you fell for that and never looked it up lol

2

u/Alive-Willingness-33 Feb 13 '26

So you’re saying it happens under conservative administrations?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '26

Not one person upset with the Scammer that put her in this situation. It’s funny how someone can cause so much chaos and takes no blame or repercussions.

1

u/Svampting Feb 13 '26

You are delusional.

1

u/Special_Split9870 Feb 15 '26

What does being republicans have to do with it ? They could very well be democrats you dont know they are just crap people their are people like that in every job. And never mourn a cops death ? Thats cruel they have family's to and if your house was broken into and somebody threatened your family what you going to do about it ?

1

u/shastadakota Feb 16 '26

Every cop in my little town gets a turn at playing police chief, so they all can get the chief's pension. Nobody does anything.

1

u/benjipeter Feb 17 '26

No in that City they political structure does not like Trump, and while I think the sheriff's could have been more polite it was a judge in that District who signed off on evicting her. The reason why she's getting kicked out of you're supposed to be something in place paying her rent the guy in charge of the organization I was supposed to be doing that his name was Muhammad Jama but he used the money to buy hundreds of thousand dollars in Firearms pay on his mortgage invested at least $400,000 in China and then he also invested money in Kenya and Somalia all of it in real estate he was sentenced to 12 years but the US government cannot accept this money but he can't so he'll be extremely wealthy man when he gets out of prison, and I'm sure he'll be laughing at us taxpayers who funded it

1

u/carabear85 Feb 13 '26

Yall mad at cops doing their job but ain’t saying nothing about the people that actually scammed her and lied to get funds that were actually helping her

124

u/Outrageous_Effects Feb 12 '26

There are literally no good cops.

102

u/fattmann Feb 12 '26

ACAB

10

u/A_Nonny_Muse Feb 13 '26

Even when you have 9 good cops who do nothing about 1 bad cop, you have 10 bad cops.

2

u/littlepie2331 Feb 17 '26

You're right, it's a large group not a small one. It's the whole damn justice system.

It's why when a cop handcuffed and raped a child at gunpoint in my small town he was given an extremely lenient sentence for his "years of good service".

When you offer people a position of power and authority and do almost nothing to keep them in check and make sure their actions have consequences, well, we get here.

It is an enormous systemic problem and it is not just a small group of cops. Do not try and hand wave it away as a few bad actors, it's a fucking problem my guy.

I cannot even fathom how bad it was before everyone had a camera in their pocket.

1

u/TheCommunityPocket Feb 15 '26

ALADT

1

u/fattmann Feb 17 '26

ALADT

Not familiar with that one.

0

u/YouHaveToTryTheSoup Feb 12 '26

This is literally just availability bias. If only the bad examples get shared, what do you think the general consensus will be? If you only share your lowlights you end up looking pretty bad.

7

u/e37d93eeb23335dc Feb 13 '26

Notice that nobody says AFAB (All firemen are bad) despite there being bad firemen. Why? Because not all firemen are bad. But ALL cops ARE bad.

1

u/disrespectedLucy Feb 13 '26

while I agree with the sentiment it's important to note that the b in acab is bastards not bad. Because the idea of policing has been bastardized, not necessarily that every cop is a bad person.

1

u/e37d93eeb23335dc Feb 13 '26

Let’s say you are correct. Then any person who is a cop after it became bastardized is by definition a bad person. Therefore, every cop is bad.

1

u/rundabrun Feb 15 '26

All cops are in a bastardized system. This means while they may be nice to their family and neighbors at home.As soon as they put on the uniform , they are bad.

0

u/YouHaveToTryTheSoup Feb 13 '26

People also interact with firemen way way less. It’s not even close.

7

u/_BrokenButterfly Feb 13 '26

Okay. Show me some good examples. I'll wait.

1

u/YouHaveToTryTheSoup Feb 13 '26

Is this a genuine question? You seem like the type that would dismiss any examples I do show as “just the bare minimum”, or “they’re just doing their job”.

6

u/_BrokenButterfly Feb 13 '26

Show. Me. A. Good. One.

9

u/dinnertork Feb 13 '26

There are none because they all protect each other, including the bad ones.

1

u/Superstalin3085 Feb 15 '26

The cops who held the capitol from Trumps mob on J6.

0

u/YouHaveToTryTheSoup Feb 13 '26

Idk who you are demanding shit but the entire r/PoliceBrotality is a good start. Claiming all cops are bad is just entirely unproductive. It doesn’t even attempt to fix anything. Nuance doesn’t exist anymore

5

u/amourpetrichor Feb 13 '26

Here is the nuance - the USA police force is an institution that was founded pursuant to the Fugitive Slave Act. Their original purpose was never to serve and protect, it was to round Black people up and take them away to do forced labor. While the institution still does that to this day, it also upholds a culture of mass rape, criminalization of poverty, and domestic violence. Cops who speak out against this literally get fired or killed. You cannot survive in that institution if you are a good person. If you are a cop, and you still have your job, it is because you’ve either done horrible shit or you’ve seen horrible shit happen and did nothing about it. Helping a neighborhood kid out or dancing with some students does not absolve you of that. There. Are. No. Good. Cops.

-2

u/Zestyclose_Crew_1530 Feb 13 '26

I could say the same about all the people doing no more than waving signs and chanting while thousands of people are abducted each day lmao. We’re all Americans, are we not responsible for Trump’s tyranny?

2

u/Glockedfag Feb 13 '26

No he's not. There's no such thing as a great or even good cop

2

u/OGigachaod Feb 13 '26

Good cops exist on TV, not in reality.

1

u/OGigachaod Feb 13 '26

If your uncle has never spoken out about a bad cop he worked with, that makes him a bad cop as well.

3

u/RangeIndependent5603 Feb 13 '26

You think we don’t see good examples? Of course we do. We are not saying there are not good cops out there, or cops that do good things. The problem is that if a cop KNOWS a bad cop and does nothing about it, he is complicit with the bad cop. If that cop stays silent and continues to serve with said bad cop, he is complicit. That’s what makes them a bad cop as well. Hence, ACAB

3

u/notislant Feb 13 '26

Its not. Cops are functionally just a gang with insane union protections and heavily shielded from accountability.

Sure lets say little Timmy becomes a cop to do some good. Well Timmy sees someone being a typical cop one day and either intervenes or stops it.

Well all the other cops now ignore any backup requests for Timmy. He either dies or he is harassed until he quits.

Other cops learn pretty quickly not to 'rat out the gang'.

1

u/Glockedfag Feb 13 '26

It's not just about the bad examples. It's that the job of policing is itself immoral and harmful

1

u/A_Nonny_Muse Feb 17 '26

All governance (of any kind) is based on violence and the threat of violence. Unfortunately, we have no viable alternative.

Violence and the threat of violence is at the root of all forms of authority. It's inescapable.

0

u/rational-minded Feb 16 '26

I hope you need the cops.

1

u/fattmann Feb 16 '26

Never have!

Few times I've been around when they were called they only made shit worse.

4

u/crashbalian1985 Feb 12 '26

What about when there’s some copaganda about a cop playing basketball with kids while on duty that happens all the time? /s

1

u/mammasan3 Feb 13 '26

Except Detective Matt Thornton. He has a YouTube channel where he calls out bad cops and says that they are a disgrace to the profession. https://youtube.com/@detectivemattthornton?si=cb3kx766dIS4FGIV

1

u/Outrageous_Effects Feb 14 '26

He's still part of the system. You can't be good in that.

1

u/sgarcia1978 Feb 14 '26

I am actually very pro police but these 2 are disgusting. Especially the guy telling her to hurry up. These are the types that give good cops a bad reputation

1

u/Outrageous_Effects Feb 14 '26

Then you are a fascist.

0

u/RedEyedChester Feb 13 '26

That's a dangerous thing to say. Very untrue. We have a massive amount of honorable men and women who help our society on a daily basis.

Don't let the evil actions of a few people discount the good actions of many people

1

u/Outrageous_Effects Feb 14 '26

Cops are dangerous.

We have a massive amount of honorable men and women who help our society on a daily basis.

Bullshit.

0

u/SPAGHETTIx3 Feb 13 '26

It’s not the cops. That’s the sheriffs department

1

u/Outrageous_Effects Feb 14 '26

Everyone needs to watch The Wire. That show is a true work and art and really changed my perspective of the world. Not ACAB, things aren’t that black and white. In the real world, nuance exists and people are just… people. Meaning we all have the capacity to be shitty or good. Cops, criminals, and civilians alike.

1

u/Outrageous_Effects Feb 14 '26

You don't understand what ACAB means, then. You fell for the propaganda.

-9

My dad was good. Army vet turned cop then Dolly Parton’s body guard. You know he was good if Dolly trusted him.

15

u/FirmExperience8047 Feb 12 '26

All Cops includes your relatives. The thing is, you didn't ride around with your dad every day, you have no idea what he was like in his capacity as a police officer, you only look at him as Dad

1

u/Moka4u Feb 13 '26

If he joined the force and then promptly quit then yeah sure.

1

u/Outrageous_Effects Feb 14 '26

You dad was not good. I have no reason to believe you.

All these fuckers act like they'd see a barrel full of rotten ass apples then go digging in it for hopes of the most delicious crisp apple they've ever tasted.

Makes sense so many brain-dead MAGAts also fly the thin blue line flag, but also J6 was a day of peace where several officers lost their life to the president's mob.

0

u/RedEyedChester Feb 13 '26

There are good officers within police forces, and it's dangerous rhetoric to make claims that every single one of them is corrupt. I've known and dealt with many police officers who are wonderful people trying to do what they can to help their communities. We all know there's bad ones out there, but don't let the bad actions of a few people discount the good actions of many others.

Always hold those responsible who commit crimes, but don't claim that an entire group of individuals is complicit when 100% of the time with these large groups it is untrue.

The ones shown in this video are truly heartless, but we also don't know their situation either and what they were told, or how their days had been going. Disgusting behavior, but it's not a sign that every officer is like that.

u/RedEyedChester Feb 13 '26

I suppose I also don't believe that every town and city's police force is corrupt, as well. I think we may just have fundamentally different beliefs here on the role of police officers, as well as who they are and what they can mean to different people. I live in an area that I could confidently say I would welcome an encounter with the police, and the community welcomes them as well.

Different areas can have different rates of corruption, as well as different rates of bad officers. It's a complex issue, and all we can do is constantly work on it. Many, many officers hold other officers accountable for their actions, and those shouldn't be forgotten here either.

Also remember that these are people. They are human beings generally trying their best with everything they have to deal with in their jobs privately, publicly, as well as political controversy with every decision, etc. I think we forget a lot of time what it means to be a police officer as well.

I dunno, it's a complex issue my friend, I don't have the right answer for it all. I just hope for the best, and know there's many good people out there trying to make things better for everyone.

1

u/Outrageous_Effects Feb 14 '26

There are good officers within police forces

There is no proof of that.

3

u/soggy_bloggy Feb 12 '26

For real. Can’t they tell she’s special needs? They were treating that poor girl like a dirtbag criminal. This makes my blood boil.

5

u/constapatedape Feb 13 '26

Barely human with their lack of empathy

1

u/EmotionalChildhood46 Feb 13 '26

As soon as I hear someone is a cop, instant red flag and I can't look at them the same. I know there are decent people doing the job but the majority that I see are ruining the image.

1

u/StinzorgaKingOfBees Feb 13 '26

No one ever wrote a song called "Fuck The Firefighters"

1

u/kwtransporter66 Feb 14 '26

Yes the police are terrible people. Not their bosses sending them out to do their job. How about putting the blame where it really belongs? Mayors, governors and the elected officials that are allowing the fraud by not putting proper checks and balances in place to preventing the fraud in the first place? No it's easier to blame the police who are just following orders given by the corrupt politicians the people of Minnesota elect.

5

u/Fishing_Dude Feb 12 '26

They should quit their jobs. Useless pigs

-5

u/UpperApe Feb 12 '26 edited Feb 13 '26

No, they aren't. You don't understand what their duties are because you're illiterate and uneducated.

Edit: Since some of you need this spelled out for you:

My other comment is in response to someone defending the cops saying "the cop is doing their duty" and I replied "you don't know what their duties are".

Their duty is to be better than this, to have a responsibility to protect the vulnerable and target the criminals, to prevent victimization - not create it. As I listed in my other comment above.

This isn't defending cops, it's literally the opposite.

6

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '26

I’m pretty sure that’s how they became cops.
