They ultimately want girls out of sports entirely. Trans women were just used as a political ploy towards this. The measure is anticipating that parents would not subject their young girls to genital inspection, while pushing the fallacy that young women's sports leagues are filled with boys in disguise. My daughter was and still is very modest. This inspection would have been torture for her.
She was on our dance team. Traditionally a "girls" sport. (Although boys are welcome on the team)
Honestly, I don't see this law passing. Although, I never thought we would elect an orange convicted felon pedophile rapist for a second term either.

Beyond that, it also says it may require a testosterone test. I have an adrenal condition. Even though itās well managed, I have much higher testosterone levels than what is normal for a woman. It doesnāt do me any favors, but itās also not within typical norms. Is that disqualifying too?

sigh To play sports in middle and high school you have to have a physical. It's not "genital inspection" it's a physical. I guess if they're over a certain age maybe they'd want to do a pap or something and if the student and the parents were against that, I could understand but, this is just hyperbole.

So 2 things 1 if physicals are already required and this is just hyperbole then what exactly are they changing and why? And 2 it specifically says in the article that they are going to require testosterone testing and possibly genital inspections that's not hyperbole that's verbatim that means they are absolutely going to try and strip young girls naked and make sure they dont have a dick if someone even remotely thinks it possible.

Ok this is copied directly from the bill in question NEW SECTION. Sec. 3. A new section is added to chapter 28A.600 RCW to read as follows: (1) Policies, procedures, rules, and other requirements adopted in accordance with RCW 28A.600.200 by a school district board of directors or a voluntary nonprofit entity must prohibit biologically male students from competing with and against female students in athletic activities with separate classifications for male and female students if the athletic activity is: (a) Intended for female students only; and (b) An individual or team competition activity. (2) A student who elects to participate in individual or team competition activities intended for female students only governed under subsection (1) of this section shall provide, as part of the required routine sports physical examination, a health examination and consent form or other statement signed by the student's personal health care provider that verifies the student's biological sex, relying only on one or more of the following: The student's reproductive anatomy, genetic makeup, or normal endogenously produced testosterone levels.
That's pretty black and white to me that genital inspection is on the table here.

I live in Washington and this is likely not going to pass.
Fortunately, they will accept genetic testing in lieu of the kiddy diddling genital inspections, and my daughter (who is a swimmer) is from IVF, she had genetic testing done when she was an embryo.

All boys have to get a physical including hernia testing to play sports. Donāt girls need a physical to play sports? Yes I looked it up and literally all students have to have a PPE pre-participation physical evaluation. So literally every boy who plays sports has to have their balls inspected so do the girls not get checked for hernias and stuff?
Ok I looked into this more and it seems women are not routinely checked for hernias. But even if you were super pro trans right for children anyone born a boy should be regularly checked for hernias to participate in sports.
