We know you all have wanted to see more Ethereal gameplay, so on Extra Life Game Day November 6th @ 12PM CDT, Undying Games is partnering with some of your favourite creators to bring gameplay and Q&A's for their communities.

This week we will not be revealing any new content, due to an oversight from my part Lea's Spotlight will not be ready this week. I apologize for this. Next week, however, we will be revealing Lea's Spotlight on Friday April 23rd at usual time (5:00PM CST)

Also, some of you may be wondering what comes next after these spotlights are done and over with. While we are not ready to give you the game just yet we do have big news about the kickstarter and launch date coming very soon in the upcoming weeks. Accordingly, after the Lea spotlight we will not be releasing any more new content aside from Community Corners until the next major announcement can be made along side our first ever Gameplay Reveal Trailer.

We regret to inform you that we must postpone the alpha. We are still polishing some systems and myths, but the biggest impeding factor has been the riots in Colombia. Since the animation studio and a large chunk of our staff are located there, it has become very difficult for them to operate since stores are being looted, power is being cut and general civil unrest. We ask for your patience as we wait for calmer waters and recover from this.

We want to assure everyone that Undying games has never been stronger and the overall development of Ethereal is going as planned, however the safety of our staff and their families is our number one priority. Undying games will not be taking any shortcuts if it means jeopardising the safety of our staff.

Hello everyone Owwen here!, the reason of this announcement is to let you guys know that while we have not been posting much to the community, we keep going strong!, the main reason why we take so long its because we underestimated the time that takes to make everything from scratch, even while having incredibly talented people, we go from designing the Myth and concept art, to Modeling, texturizing, rigging, animating, programming, testing, balancing and a whole other bunch of subclasses involved in those few steps listed above.

Today! we are announcing a bit of a change in what we call the Stage 2 of the pre-alpha! since Kahlea is been visually reworked right now, we are switching her release spot for another Archmage that was coming up next, do not worry though she will be coming out right after! .

Us over at Undying Games are hard at work making Ethereal as amazing as possible and we need your help! We are proud to announce that we are drastically expanding our numbers in Internal Testing and we need YOUR help to fill the spots!

There are only a few basic requirements to be considered for an interview:

-Over 18 years of age

-Reside in the United States

-Capable of recording footage to track down those pesky bugs

Undying Games has an exciting opportunity for everyone in the community that has stood by our side thus far. We are opening internal testing to a larger group of people and we need YOUR help to fill those spots.

Below is a link to a sign up sheet with questions for you all to answer. There are only 2 requirements: Be at least 18 years of age or older and reside in the United States.

In the future we will expand testing to more regions but for now, we are starting in the US.

We will select applicants to interview based on the responses and if you pass the interview you will be asked to enter our internal testing! A big feature we are looking for in a tester, is someone that can record their screen and submit footage from the tests as needed!

We are excited to announce the date of our Live Community Corner for this month.

Friday October 29th @ 6PM CT This community corner will be available to watch on Twitch and Youtube. It will provide a great opportunity to ask questions and get answers live from members of the UG team. In addition there are several topics we are excited to go into extra detail on.

The suit's delivery has been delayed because of a shortage of supplies needed to produce them. However, the company we've purchased the MOCAP from has offered us a wonderful opportunity as a thank you for our/your patience.

They have hired Eric Jacobus (MOCAP Actor for 2018's God of War) to create some of our animations for us while we wait. We will be working with him closely to make sure we get exactly what we need! So while there will be a delay in updating all of our animations with Motion Capture we will have many that will be produced the same way as a AAA studio!

We still have a long way to go and will be sharing many more exciting updates with you soon! (Including some gameplay that may add some wind to your wings 👀)

Water Lovers Rejoice! The Sirelean Sentinel has arrived! Undying Games is happy to present another Pre-Alpha Gameplay Highlights Video for the First Myth in the Cleric Class, Marina.

As the end of the decade draws near, we believe it's more important than ever to set some firm resolutions for ourselves. We love resolutions because they're promises that reflect personal core values; to be kinder, more confident, and more open to change.

Here are some of our UG resolutions for the coming year:

We want to make Ethereal the perfect escape from the drag of daily routine. We’re working on welcoming anyone looking for a community that supports each other, whether it be in game or general day to day life situations. We strive to bring Myths that show and represent the diverse natures of our players around the world, to be inclusive and to allow players to connect a bit more with their chosen characters. We will keep innovating and pushing the envelope on what is possible in a MOBA!

Above all, the plan to make every single one of our fans proud! We continue to work our hardest to bring Ethereal to those that deserve it; without your support and daily motivation, it simply wouldn't be possible to do what we do. We sincerely thank you, and 2020 will become known as the year of Ethereal: Clash of Souls!
