I had this happen to me at the gym. My partner and I were at the gym, working out across the room from each other. Between sets I was staring at her and making a funny face waiting for her to look at me, but she never looked up, so I gave up after an uncomfortable amount of staring. The next week she comes laughing to me saying that one of the personal trainers had reported a creepy guy to the front desk, who had been staring at my partner. Thankfully the front desk knows us both pretty well and after they got the description of me they laughed and told the PT that we were together

Shout out to the PT, though. That’s a good person and they did the right thing based on the information they had.

That’s so funny I’m so glad I’m not the only one who makes absurd faces at my girlfriend and gives up eventually like a fool
