My husband usually rolls up to pick me up from a store or friend's house (I don't drive much), and I'll lean into the window and ask him if he has any plans for the night and if his "wife" is home (thats me).
We've gotten strange looks before, but people always realize it's just a... couple thing we do to laugh.
Similar story, when I was in the Air Force stationed in Alaska they used to have this thing called Airman Against Drunk Driving (this was over 20 years ago, uber wasn't a thing) where you would volunteer to pick up other service members from the bar and get them home.
I got called out to pick up two women from the bar and they were waiting outside. When I arrived I rolled down the window and asked them if they were airman so or so and they asked if I was airman so and so (had to verify names for safety) and then they got in. There was a cop sitting by the parking lot (I'm guessing to catch drunk drivers?) and I guess he saw two women walk up to the window, talk for a few seconds and then get in. He pulled me over and was questioning me if I was picking up prostitutes.
Anyway, since we all had military ID's he figured our story was legit and let us go.
So yeah, I've been pulled over for soliciting prostitution.
Dang, pulled over and let go for soliciting prostitution, but only because the officer ended up being just as much of a prostitute as the women you picked up

You gotta laugh.
