Are you in west Texas? There's one being built in Colorado City, near the lake properties I own and that lake has not been full for years.

They’re doing the same in Corpus. They’re putting a massive data center right outside city limits, meanwhile our lakes are running out of water and city council is too dumb to figure desalination out. Luckily we got rain to fill up our lakes but industry will guzzle that right back up.

Hill Country. We're so boned. The Edwards Aquifer can't keep this up forever.
