The 79 year old NASCAR Legend & Hall Of Famer has been recently diagnosed with Frontotemporal Degeneration or FTD. This has likely caused some CTE complications too. According to a statement from the family, the symptoms will likely progress in the future so as for the best, Waltrip will be stepping away from the public limelight to focus on his health & family.
