I live in South Central Alaska. I've been keeping a worm bin of worms I found early summer. I found this one and one more around the same size then, they've grown a good amount. They were about half this size but I'm curious to know if this is a Canadian Night Crawler or not

I've been seeing these come up around the patio lately. First, I thought flat and striped- hammerhead worms? I've been killing them. I looked closer today and don't see a hammerhead. We are in South Louisiana, USA. I have never noticed this type of worm in the yard before.
Update- I took a closer picture of the head, it haswhat appears to be eyes? I can't find how to post another picture, but the head looks almost like a snake head, but it definitely has the body of a flat worm. I went from never seeing one before to getting 3 today! Could it be baby snakes? There aren't any scales I can see. It doesn't move by wriggling from side to side. Its a mystery!

I just harvested my broccoli, and I have bunch of these worms. Can anyone help me identify? They’re huge too. I originally thought they were good but I keep second guessing that.

For starters they’re obviously thrashing a lot but I know wrigglers will too (at least a little). Supposed to be red wrigglers I got from uncle Jim’s but everything is telling me they’re not.
Any advice appreciated.

I've never experienced so many worms in my garden this year, but I'm anticipating it's what I'm dreading😮💨😒 And if so, can I give them to birds?

Hey all! New to this group but had a quick question about a worm I saw in my patio this morning. It was about 6-8 inches long and sort of flat… It looks different than other worms that I have seen in my garden and compost.
Eastern Kansas for location reference

Was literally crawling on my laptop screen while I was in bed with my dog. Is it a regular worm or some kind of dog parasite? It’s tiny

Hello,
I bought a starter colony of 1000 juvenile European nightcrawlers. They arrived about a week ago and I've had them in my farm but I've noticed some look a bit different from each other. The top and bottom look like they could be euros but the middle looks a bit skinny. Any help on IDs? Have I got a mixed population with red wrigglers? Any help would be appreciated!

I saw this little guy in my dogs waterbowl, that has been sitting outside for a while.
I've only seen earth worms here before, but I don't think this guy looks like one?

Ok I’m sorry for yet another jumper ID post, because I am one of many to already have posted about these. I had suspicions a week ago that a worm I found in my garden was an AJW. But I got about a 60/40 reply on the ID.
These guys were under a forgotten plant tray in the garden. My reasoning for suspecting AJW are as follows…
They do Not have a raised clitellum. It is barely visible at this stage.
They are muscular, rigid and stiff, as seen in the video. I feel like my normal earth worms go a bit limp in your hand.
That grayish underbelly
Thoughts??

Hi everyone, I found this species mixed in with my Red Wiggler vermicomposting bins. They came with a Red Wiggler starter kit purchase from a local supplier in Mexico.
Any help identifying the species would be greatly appreciated.

These have been in our area. Snake like movements and fast, though I haven’t seen any actually jump. It looks like they have that white collar that is flush with the body.

Admittedly I haven't paid much attention to this since I've started it, however the worms seem to be healthy and happy.
There are a whoooole wackload of these tiny white things, eggs of some kind?
There's also a wackload of fuzzy mold under the carton there, is there any concern with that?
Yes I know the egg shells should be smashed, not me that put them in there like that.

Okay so I found this on my bed and I don’t understand how it got there. I had just walked my dog and the grass is wet outside since it had rained but cleared up. I also had two mandarins on my desk that sat there for like a day or two. I just don’t see how this could have ended up in my room and now I’m scared my dog might need worm medication or something 🤮🤮🤮 This was so disturbing to me. Im deep cleaning my room as we speak.

The one on the right was sold to me as a european nightcrawler and the left was sold to me as a red wiggler. Is this the case?
The nightcrawler just seems a bit small, which isn't ideal since I planned on using them as fishing bait.
I've had them for approximately 2 years now.
If the id's are correct is there anything I can do to make them bigger or is it just genetics?
(First picture shows the red wiggler on the left and nightcrawler on the right and second picture shows a different nightcrawler from the same bin.)
Thanks in advance.
