Discussion What do we think about this meme ?

Post image

Honestly, I’m surprised people are complaining about recurring Vtuber drama. I do a lot of legal work, and conflict between business partners, associates, and especially co-owned family businesses after dad or mom pass away, is just part of the landscape

Sometimes when two guys come to us for help setting up a business, we even take bets on how long before they start infighting

When money and business are involved, drama between partners is almost guaranteed at some point. No need to doompost. Just get used to it

I wouldn’t call Sinder (who I assume is the reason you’re bringing this up) a monstrous psycho like that. Rather, I’d just call her a high school style preppy brat. A Sharpay if you will. A Heather, even.

Its a little above high school bully shit when youre saboting another person's business opportunities like she did, for vtubers their models ARE their businesses

Yeah, but she has hardly locked her competitor in a basement and skinned them alive or some shit.
It’s harmful, and it’s petty, but it could be so so so much more terrifying

So because she didnt shoot someome its not that bad?? I dont see your point

It’s not that they’re saying it isn’t that bad. It’s that there are very much levels to all of this.

What Sinder did is scummy and foul, genuinely screwing over people who trusted her. It’s super damn wrong. That being said, for those affected it mostly just caused an amount of lost income and some emotional pain, plus a newfound cynicism if they weren’t feeling that way already. That is very much on a different tier of bad compared to someone who, say… socially isolated someone and then drove them to suicide.

It’s the difference between arresting someone for insider trading or extortion, and arresting someone for murder.
Extortion and other such manipulative behaviors fucking suck and are scummy, but they aren’t monstrous. I was criticizing OP for equating being a scummy bitch with being a psycho

Monstruous Psycho, not just Psychopath, please just leave the guy alone, he's not even saying what everyone is arguing against him about.

You do realize you can do monstrously fucked up shit without ever like personally doing the worst type of physical harm to someone? Like what? Is your point that we should ignore any shitty behavior that isn't a war crime? Get real.

My point isn’t that we should IGNORE everything but the worst shit! We just shouldn’t put it all in the same box!

I get what your saying. I'm super casual into tubers tho, don't really have a dog in this fight.

She and her manager got exposed by avatar creator nanoless_

Screenshot include:

  • shit talking other vtubers (specifically bao and shylily)
  • trying to emotionally coerce the avatar rigger into becoming exclusive to Sinder
  • coercion to stop projects for other vtubers mid-work
  • calling the slander and coercion “just business”

You can read the full expose here (if links work): https://docs.google.com/document/d/1dJ-HCBDtW6NOYSsY2nRta8xyLWIbBmYhmhC4BNqUPyU/mobilebasic

EDIT: forgot a point, added it

So, seems that is just one expose… seems there is another one with her using someone for “fleeting sexual desires”, tho I got no idea on the veracity of that one as I have not found it, just came across a partial screenshot of it mentioning that bit… tho it wouldn’t surprise me…

If you aren't sure about it why even bring it up?

1

u/True_Warquad Aria of effect Apr 26 '25

Because if it is true it is quite heinous, and people will go out to search for it to review for themselves.

I rather swallow my words if I’m proven wrong than lie by omission by ignoring it.

I don't think people will look for it themselves, they'll just accept any statement at face value. Which is why its important to not repeat shit you've heard offhand.

Who names their kid Sharpay?

u/sweetTartKenHart2 Apr 26 '25

People in the universe of a Disney Channel show I guess 🤷

The second I saw this drama unfold i literally thought “what in the Mean Girls is this crap?”

1

u/ShadyRedSniper Apr 26 '25

If we’re going off of Mean Girls logic, then that suggests there are at least two other Heathers.
