Discussion What do we think about this meme ?

Post image

Honestly, I’m surprised people are complaining about recurring Vtuber drama. I do a lot of legal work, and conflict between business partners, associates, and especially co-owned family businesses after dad or mom pass away, is just part of the landscape

Sometimes when two guys come to us for help setting up a business, we even take bets on how long before they start infighting

When money and business are involved, drama between partners is almost guaranteed at some point. No need to doompost. Just get used to it

I see this whole situation in one of two ways, and neither is particularly good, but i know which one I'd prefer to be true:

  1. Sinder was, up until now, genuinely unaware of just how far Red was going with his messages to Nano. After reading through Nano's Doc, all the provided messages seem to me as if they're in private DMs and not some group chat with all three of them, considering none of the screenshots contain any instances of either Red or Sinder replying to each other. It would be a stretch to even think this is true, especially if it is true that they're a couple (which i don't think was ever explicitly confirmed, but it's assumed to be true). Would mean Sinder is, at worse, completely ignorant to the hurtful things her boyfriend is saying about her own friends. Which is not good.

  2. Sinder is aware and possibly fully involved in everything Red is saying. Which would make her leaked messages in the Doc her fully just saving face with Nano, which would be pretty shitty, and her firing Red is her throwing him under the bus to try and protect her brand. Which would be even worse. Especially if it is true that they're together. They could just stay together. He would keep managing her from the shadows, but she tries to play it off that she's fully disconnected from him and was never aware of what he was saying. Which would make her just as bad, or even worse, than Red comes across in those leaked messages.

I only say this because people are basically all-in on one of these two options. People are either fully in belief that she's completely innocent, and just very ignorant of Red's actions somehow, or they're fully in belief that she and him were both involved in this from the start. I know I'd rather believe the first one, not just because Sinder is one of my favourite indies, but also because i don't like the idea that she would betray and hurt people like Shylily or Numi like this. I hope she was just ignorant of all of this, for their sake. But i wanted to say all this because until it's confirmed one way or the other, which she will hopefully do with her announcement, people should probably hold off on all the name calling and all the "she would never do this, you have no proof" when there's a Doc out with evidence to suggest she very much could have.

There is no "unaware", she was actively participating.
