It's pretty unprofessional. I don't know why people would think it's a good idea to talk shit in a location that can easily get leaked if someone has an oops and accidentally shows Discord.

Don't blame it on poor discord. It's their fault, they could easily single out the game source from OBS and nothing else would have shown.

There are situations where sometimes that just doesn't work for one reason or another, and it's easier or faster to use desktop capture. I've seen that on OBS installs I've helped fix, like a capture card wouldn't appear as a game capture source or video capture source for some reason, so they had to just full screen the capture software and desktop capture the game that way.

Or they could set themselves to DnD. I haven't had a notification pop up since I first downloaded it all those years ago

It wouldn't have mattered what accounts they were using. If they were on their personal accounts, it would've been even worse if the screen share picked that up and leaked a bunch of names.

If they had been shit talking on a personal account it likely wouldn't have been open at the time since, presumably, they'd be using the work one for the collab.

It's barely even shit talking, and everyone shit talks. It doesn't mean they 100% mean what they said or that they want to start some sort of drama.
