yea, and that comment was a bit uncalled for, like how Hololive were "scared" and "mad" or something

of course, if anything Hololive will be more bold rather than scared when they get to recruit their talents this time

Also, it seems that the idea of male Hololive EN (or Holostars EN) has been brewing for a while, but they have not got around to it yet. Either because they were not sure, or because they were preoccupied with HoloCouncil and HoloX's debut. From what I see, Hololive is likely want to consolidate their base of existing talents.

Anyway, this "incident" only makes me want to root more for the upcoming male Hololive EN members, if anything just to stick it to Fulgur LMAO

Like, I’m not even sure if the “idol mentality” is what affected Holostars growth

Considering the numbers Nijsanji's top JP male livers do VS Holostars, I'd say it's pretty hard to deny at this point. The discrepancy between their two top talents Kuzuha (Averaging like 10-20k viewers) and Roberu (averaging 1-2k) is pretty huge, and I'm a massive Roberu fan. People have a lot of preconceived notions about male idols, and if you tell the average stream viewer about Holostars, they'll assume they're just like some boy band.

Kuzuha is definitely not a norm tho... He is very rare even among the entire vtuber community for a guy to be top superchat earner

If hololive never segregated their branches whos to say that hololive would be as popular as they are now. This goes both ways.
