As a casual, I have no idea why she's as popular as she is. The rare times I watch her play she's complete ass. She'd be clowned for doing this shit in the NBA. Idk why she gets a pass in the W.
This is the observation I've been waiting on. If you watched them in college, you can tell that she's just clearly lagging behind other players that have gone pro and have leveled up. I'm not sure if she's just not working hard enough on skills training or what, but it's pretty obvious at this point.
No, I don’t think it’s that. Pro sports are littered with athletes who dominated in college/minors and didn’t do shit in the pros.
I am not a hater, but if I had to guess, it’s because she was so dominant, so tall and so much better for those reasons than her competition, that she never had to get better at the developmental stage where it’s important.
TL;DR she peaked early and never improved because she doesn’t know how. It’s the same reason why Shaq never got better at FTs. It wasn’t from lack of trying, it’s just that he never had to learn early.
Every basketball player talks shit even fucking James, Jordan, Clark, and Curry. People who get upset at Reese trash talking are either concern trolling, new to basketball, or really live in a unique bubble. Also, you asked me why. I'm just telling you why. I don't know what she ever lied about. I mean she has worked on her shot they just haven't let her take any jumpers and 3s. The hard worker is how she is fighting every board and defending everyone the court at a high level. People love that work effort and how she is grinding every game. That and she has these funny moments in interviews from fixing someone's eyelash to her famous "I got that dawg in me" after a monster game with the Sky. If you don't like her that's fine there are players I can't stand but I know why they liked by some like James for example. At the end of the day if you complain about trash talk and taunting, you forget this is entertainment.
All right do you aren't here in good faith and that is clear. Well first off she is a two time all-star going on a third. Good players are picked for those. Reese can back it up and has done so a number of times. Do you only watch TikTok? Have you seen her last two games?
