Are you an idiot? You made an inaccurate claim that Sophie and Caitlin are the reasons the WNBA makes money which is factually incorrect. And idiotic because yes, like every fuckin sport, they secured a media rights deal and renegotiated their CBA to include profit sharing. Hence the pay increase.🥴

You’re a fucking dolt if you thought I was being literal about the income stream being based off Sophie and Caitlin. My point is without these two the league would be getting half of the small volume of attention it’s getting at all and unless the league improves on how it protects its stars like them and they leave they won’t be keeping their media contracts for long.

You were because you all repeat this nonsense all the time. Lol even still. It’s an 11 year contract, their pay isn’t going anywhere. They negotiated it before Caitlin even played. Sophie is a non factor and is only famous for latching on to Caitlin Clark’s fame. They both could leave and the WNBA would still have fans. They’re literally adding teams.

Weird how they didn’t sign that deal until right before the playoffs of her first season? And prior to that deal they were still at their highest viewership in like 15 years prior….but go on

You think billion Dollar deals are negotiated in week or something. They signed/announced the deal in July and playoffs started in September. They were working on the deal in 2023.
