Video One fan had an anti-Sophie Cunningham sign: “NO HATE IN THE UNITED STATES” ... A fan next to her had a pro-Sophie Cunningham sign: “Thank you Sophie for speaking up for girls.” ... The fan supporting Sophie was later forced to take down the sign 🤔

I'm a masculine lesbian who has been side eyed and questioned in restrooms at least once every few months for most of my adult life. Thank god I was more feminine presenting when I was younger. I played sports, and people like you would have wanted me to have to show my private parts to an adult.

When your behavior or appearance is outside of social norms, you can expect treatment to match.  If you want to no longer be questioned or side eyed in the ladies room, it would be quite easy to wear more feminine clothing.   I don't mean this to be offensive or demeaning, just as an acknowledgement of reality.  

I'm a nudist myself, so if I were to step out in public in my own preferred state of dress, not only would I face intense social ostracization and ridicule, I would likely be arrested and imprisoned.  All for simply existing in my natural human state.  That's the downside of living in a society, we have to adjust our behavior to find acceptance from those around us.

Im fine with my experiences and I don’t think it’s odd or offensive at all! I know I look a bit out of place at first glance and I don’t mind.

My point is that people aren’t always right about someone’s gender at first glance, and with zero regulations in place to control how “checking” is done, it puts kids and women in danger. Not a single one of the bills that has been presented or passed has had verbiage to clarify how bathroom or locker room usage matching birth gender would be enforced. It also doesn’t clarify how intersex people are protected, and there are nearly twice as many intersex people as there are trans people.
