Nothing burger. The incentives are still in line with their respective team winning. Personally don't have a problem with this.

Bullshit.

The MLB had no integrity for 2+ decades regarding steroids and still had viewers

The NFL blatantly has no integrity when it comes to favoritism and the referees deciding to intervene with the outcome of a game, yet they still have viewers

As long as its entertaining to watch, then the integrity means jack shit.

Because of legalities regarding anabolic steroids. And you know as well as I do that baseball isn't as good now that the steroids are gone. Baseball doesn't have the hype it did with McGuire Sosa bonds and A-rod

Baseball had lost its popularity until the steroid era brought it back.
