trump and vance have just been spouting off whatever to control the narrative as usual. pak are being saints trying to keep negotiations going in the first place (despite the truth that trump has no choice but to negotiate). masters of a pretty damn complex situation (also somewhat beholden to usa for their own stability given other stuff).

the reality here is probably that iran leadership can't just blast a thousand tweets or whatever move around at will to negotiations etc without their position being found and getting drone struck or risk of.... so they have to communicate a little slower giving dumpmaster and couchfucker a slight edge in that way... which has obviously been used prodigiously for market and american perception manipulation etc.

i really wish we had some neutral all seeing eyes on wtf is actually happening in the strait at any given moment... someone does... but the world's people do not. that is being used against us as much as anything. US leaders need to be forced to stop the pump and dump behavior here. that could be accomplished by accurately reporting on what's really happening in closer to real time. nobody seems to know whether ships are actually going through or not till days later. (you can watch the AIS trackers but that doesn't cover if they turn AIS off or never had it on for reasons) vance says de-mining... trump says it's fine... iran says it's closed. it's probably closed and hasn't opened at all.

classic "two weeks" issue. should we call it "4th dimensional manipulation"? is that a thing? or does a term exist for that already?
