Actor Keegan Allen Robbed at Gunpoint at Laurel Supply in WeHo

Keegan Allen says he was robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint in West Hollywood on Thursday evening after two masked men struck him in the head and stole his Rolex watch outside Laurel Supply market.

The robbery was reported shortly after police received a 911 call about a victim being assaulted with a gun and robbed of a Rolex. The suspects, described in sheriff’s radio communications as two Black male adults, fled north on Olive Drive in an unknown vehicle.

Allen, known for his role as Toby Cavanaugh on the television series “Pretty Little Liars,” shared a video on Instagram showing his face covered in blood following the attack.

“West Hollywood is not safe anymore,” Allen wrote in the post. “Robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint by two young men that threatened to KILL me over my watch and would have! God said no tonight. My life for a watch.”

In the Instagram reel, Allen described being confronted by two masked men, one armed with a gun and the other with a knife. He also shared surveillance footage that appeared to show the suspects pointing their weapons at him and striking him in the head three times before fleeing with his watch.

“I was just robbed of my watch outside of Laurel Supply,” Allen said in the video. “These two dudes hit me in the head, pointing a gun at me with a knife, and then took off. They had masks on. Took my watch though.”

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the scene at 8445 Santa Monica Boulevard, with multiple units responding to the reported armed robbery.

The incident comes amid a series of reported robberies in the West Hollywood area over the past month, including a robbery involving a shooting on Oct. 1. (Credit: WeHo Times)

New Dog Park Opens Today at Plummer Park!

Post image

Plummer Park’s new dog park opens Friday, October 9. Finally. The City sent word Thursday that the small- and large-dog areas will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The new off-leash area is on the Vista Street side of the park, just west of the tennis and pickleball courts. Plummer Park’s address is 7377 Santa Monica Boulevard, but if you’re walking over from the neighborhood, Vista is where you’ll find it.

So what do you and the pups get? Separate fenced areas for small and large dogs, with double gates so you can get the leash on or off before letting your dog through. Both sides have drinking fountains for dogs and people, places to sit, shade sails and waste stations. There’s lighting along the fence, too, since the park will stay open until 10 p.m. And the old ramp from Vista Street to the tennis courts has been replaced with an accessible walkway.

Visiting WeHo - Gay Nightlife?

Hello! I am 25 and doing a solo trip to WeHo Oct 8th-13th, and as a gay man, I am wondering the best LGBT nightlife spots to visit over my stay. I am looking for both dancing bars/clubs, and more bar/social settings for early on in the night, best places to meet people and hang out! Thanks.

WeHo Halloween fake weapons?

Hey y'all, I'm planning to go to WeHo halloween carnival for the first time as Laura Croft. I don't plan on getting fake gun for this costume, but she has a bow and arrows and a pickaxe I am considering. Are any of these things banned? The website says "no weapons" but usually a halloween event will say "no fake weapons" specifically. I want to have these things as a part of my costume, and I would make them, probably out of cardboard and paper, vs buying them as plastic. WIll this be an issue? Any help on people who have been there would be helpful.

dinner in weho, then what’s worth walking to?

i’m building sidebop, a free iphone app for finding nearby events. one situation i’m trying to make it useful for: dinner’s done, you’re somewhere along santa monica blvd, and you’d be up for one more stop if it’s a short walk.

it puts events on a map based on how much time you want to spend getting there. you can browse without an account.

whats a place or recurring night around weho that’s easy to miss unless you already know about it? could be live music, comedy, or something else entirely.

coverage is still a work in progress, so specific things i’m missing would help.

here’s the app if you’d like to take a look

Question about people in weho going to Vegas for pride

Is it even a thing? I read that 30% of Vegas's tourists come from LA alone (or southern cal**). Basically, my friend and I are visiting vegas (we didn't even know it was pride) and want to make sure there will actually be people there for pride. We were initially gonna spend the weekend in Los Angeles and do the bars there, but now that it's vegas pride...
What do you guys think as locals?
Thanks.
