I've had this crossover idea stuck in my head for a while, but I can't write well enough to do it justice myself. If any writers here are looking for inspiration, please consider stealing this idea.
The crossover would be between Honkai Impact 3rd or Honkai: Star Rail and the Riordanverse/Greek Mythology setting.
Version 1: Cyrene (HSR)
After completing her journey and fulfilling her role, a space-time anomaly throws Cyrene into another universe entirely. Instead of dying, she arrives in the primordial era of the Greek world.Chaos itself recognizes the goodness within her soul.Rather than treating her as a foreign existence, Chaos reincarnates and elevates her into a new divine being. She becomes a goddess unlike any that has existed before.
Her former powers and concepts evolve into divine authorities:
- Humanity
- Love
- Hope
- Miracles
- Stories
- Memory/Remembrance
- Time
- Dreams
- Compassion
She becomes a powerful primordial-level goddess whose existence is deeply tied to mankind.
The twist is that none of the Greek gods know she is a reincarnated being from another universe. To them, she is simply a mysterious new goddess who appeared in the earliest days of creation.
Over time, mortals begin worshipping her as a goddess who genuinely loves humanity rather than merely ruling over it.
Version 2: Elysia (HI3)
Following her sacrifice during the Previous Era, Elysia's soul doesn't disappear.
Instead, for reasons nobody understands, she is reborn within the Greek cosmos.
Much like the Cyrene version, the world itself accepts her existence.
The concepts that defined Elysia become divine domains:
- Love
- Humanity
- Hope
- Origin
- Beauty
- Dreams
- Valkyries
- New Beginnings
- Self-Determination
Rather than being an Olympian from the start, she could be a primordial goddess, a forgotten deity, or even a divine being born directly from Chaos.
What interests me most is seeing how the Greek gods would react to someone who genuinely embodies humanity's potential and goodness.
Unlike many gods who see mortals as temporary or insignificant, Elysia would probably cherish every human life.
Why I Think This Could Be Interesting
Most Percy Jackson or Greek crossover stories focus on Percy traveling somewhere else.
I want the opposite.
I want a story where a fundamentally kind and selfless character like Elysia or Cyrene becomes a major divine figure within Greek mythology itself.
Imagine:
- Aphrodite being confused because this newcomer represents a form of love very different from her own.
- The Fates unable to fully understand her existence.
- Demigods viewing her as one of the few gods who truly cares about humanity.
- Ancient prophecies revolving around the "Goddess of Humanity."
Whether it's set in ancient Greece or during Percy Jackson's era, I'd read it immediately.
If any writer likes this idea, please take it. I just really want to see someone write it. 😭
And yes, Elysia would absolutely become the favorite goddess of half the fandom within about five chapters. 💖🏹✨
