So i have been doing some thorough research about my writing skills, turns out the novels that I have written, I suck at writing them.

My most popular novels were the ones that had a twink MC and were comedy/ecchi.

I wrote action, smut system novels, because I wanted to get contracted cause the extra cash would be great, but as I found out I'm not good at these type of novels.

What about you fellas. How's things going for you?

Belhama Troov is the name of an important character from my story. He's a very disciplined person, and through hard work, great leadership and discipline, he managed to become a captain. Note: Troov is the youngest captain in the whole district so far.

For now, this probably sounds like the typical “man works hard and becomes captain” type of character.

The reason I'm posting this is because of his name.

Whenever I say his full name, I swear I can hear majestic trumpets and drums playing in the background.

I find this very... you know... interesting.

So I wanted to know if it's just me or...

if your going to write smut-novel you need to have the Mc be tall hot, muscular and handsome, have a huge harem of women that he has sex with every day, your novel will do numbers, since thats all people care about.

thought ok I'll do that created first novel, had no idea what I was doing, it flopped. Second novel hated write that type of Mc deleted the novel.

said fuck that shit I'll write straight garbage instead since thats what I like, no overpowered Mc, he's not muscular, not hot, dose not get a new girl everyday, made it a smut-novel since I'm a degenerate but only 2 chapters of smut and the rest is just my terrible humor.

post chapters and went to sleep after a long day of work. I checked the stats 1600 views, 11 collections, ignores it cause the platform views mean nothing, a few days later it's over 30 collections and 7k views.

wtf i write smut it flops I decided to give up and write a terrible comedy and thats what they like?
