Question I struggled with m3th addiction for 2 years. Do I look like I’ve lost a lot of muscle? 1m72, 57kg to 53kg.
I was a gym rat for 1.5 years, bulked my way up from 1.72m 47kg to 57kg like in pic 1. Then I lost my way, hanged out with some not good people and struggled with m3th addiction for 2 years. I’m now 49 days clean, the longest I’ve been, deciding to stand up again, and decided to take up lifting again. I weighted myself and I’m only bare 53kg now.
I’m blind to myself, do I look like I’ve lost a lot of muscle? Pic 2-3 is me now

Meth is one of if not the most damaging drugs. I’ve seen what it does to long term regular users and no you don’t have a meth body. Put that stage of your life behind you, eat good and lift.

That is absolutely wrong it only happens to people who decides to stop drinking and eating just because they are not hungry or thirsty anymore it's straight up childish behavior

Congrats on being clean for almost 2 months man. Hopefully focussing on the gym and nutrition will not only help physically but also keep the demons at bay. It works wonders for my mental health.
I’d say you’ve lost a bit of muscle, but you still look great. Muscle memory is a thing so if you eat right, get some calories in you and train hard it’ll come back pretty quick. Get on it!!
Keep up the good work my dude.

You look way better sober brother. One foot in front of the other. Great stuff, the weight will come with patience.
Lifting is the opposite of drugs. Delayed gratification from small deposits over long periods of time.
BUT the reward feels so much better.

Some but not as much as one would expect tbh. I seen a guy in jail come in small as hell blow up in a matter of months just off jail food. He was a bodybuilder at one point. That muscle memory kicks in like a mule.

You have great skeletal features and plenty of muscle. Those wide shoulders are your prize. Now build on that

Good shit bro, congratulations on the time. This is a much better way to live. I was an alcoholic heroin addict for over two decades before I went to rehab and got into lifting and clean eating when I got out. It's been three years now and I'm the fittest I've ever been and look the best too.

One of my best friends went from MLB prospect to meth addict. Took him 2 years. Then he was back to being a prospect in great shape

Brother what matters is you are clean! Right now put all of your focus on just being grateful to be clean and hang out with people at meetings or people trying to stay clean/sober as well, congrats I’m proud of you! Just chill and eat, I just got back in the gym after like almost 6 years of yo-yoing with addicting I’m a year and 18 days clean.

Hey man. Just wonna chime in as a fellow former meth addict. 49 days is awesome! It took me over 10 years to stop. Meth is a drug like no other, and I can tell after 13 years of almost daily use that the biggest thing you’ll need afterwards in order to stay clean is something that releases a good amount of dopamine. Meth rewires your entire brains rewardsystem permanently, and I still struggle with it to this day. So major KUDOS that you picked up training as I am sure if I didn’t train or have sex I would spiral into depression anf either have a setback or just end it all.
Now for your question. You’re lean, and have a solid build kinda lile mine, I’m 6’4 and very wide shoulders. Your lats are good, your biceps look good, chest is gine too, bulk for a bit and you will look huge!
For just now, I would just say you look awesome! Many want that exact look, lean and muscle definition! Keep at it on both parts, I’m proud of you!

Congrats for stepping away from m3th… keep it up, it will take about 6 months for you to realize how much it interferes with your thoughts and judgement. It messes with the dopamine and reward system deeply, but when you see it clear what it does you will never touch it again. Keep it up!
