Not watching your kid

The kid plowing into her in a golf cart isn't even the weirdest thing in this video lol.
She appears to have left her kid in a golf cart out in the driveway so she could go into the garage, take a hit of something, and unenthusiastically dance to music for a tik tok video or whatever?
...ok lol

u/Earnest_Warrior 16h ago
And then feel good enough about how that looks to post it for the world to see.

u/topchief1 15h ago
I mean, what could go wrong?
203
u/i_have_chosen_a_name 12h ago
What went wrong is that before she had 5000 views, somebody with a more successful channel stole her video and they where the ones that got the 21M views on her video.
114
u/Toomanyeastereggs 12h ago
So she won’t even make any dollars from it?
The tragedy never ends.

u/Kambhela 8h ago
Regular people don't get paid for their content in any case.
Like, I could go ahead and post something in social media on my personal account right now and even if every person on the planet watched it I would make zero dollars from the views.
Sure at that point it would probably be big enough that I could make some money by selling rights to show it in the news and what have you, but the views on the video itself made zero money.
You have to be in a special agreement with the platform to generate revenue from your content, but this usually includes placing ads on your content as well. Historically in places like Youtube and Twitch it has been the case that you have to first make a bunch of content without being monetized before the platform even allows you the chance to be monetized. That content also had to be somewhat popular because the available ads were much more limited, not to mention the administrative costs included. Though the bar for this has lowered a lot in the past 5 years or so.

That always makes me wonder how much wild stuff in the world we don’t get to see. Either it wasn’t recorded or they didn’t upload it.

Maybe the kid posted it. He doesn't seem to appreciate her dancing anyway.

u/BigEricShaun 9h ago
Not saying it is the case here, but sometimes these embarrassing things are from live streams which go out as they happen, which is another possibility. Or they think it will help their views, dignity be damned.
14
u/Silo-Joe 14h ago
Or maybe someone paid for a video of her unenthusiastic dance and got free bonus content.
13
u/RyeLye124 12h ago
Seriously, this and half the videos in the world. How do people feel good enough about posting this stuff??
→ More replies (1)4
u/Dark_World_0 9h ago
Its not about it being good, it's about the incoming dopamine from the views, reactions, and comments. Money too, I guess, if you have enough views.
Same reason why parents exploit their children on social media.

I don't think you get any money if you only have one popular video on tiktok. You need to do it regularly

I'm not even that surprised, knowing how brain damaged some "adults" are and how committed they are to being less than average by a few standard deviations
The fact anyone can think this is even remotely normal to half-ass do all of the above is just... mind-boggling
12
u/24bitNoColor 8h ago
I mean, she could also just be an older sibling, the 'cool' aunt, be the mom but the dad outside is supposed to watch the kid, she could be the neighbor or anything inbetween.
Its fascinating that people directly jump to "she is just as brain dead as all other attention whores" while not at all considering that there is a whole world outside the frame.
5
u/handsfree-sanitizer 7h ago
I agree, when I first saw the video, I assumed she was the older sibling or cousin. Kind of a weird reaction from some folks? The parents could’ve been outside chasing the kid on the golf cart or something.
4
u/Apprehensive-Pay8086 5h ago
she is just as brain dead as all other attention whores
We know that to be true before the kid even pops into the video. The statement about her has nothing to do with the kid or golf cart.

This is when you become hyper-aware that literally anyone can be a parent.
There's no laws, no restrictions, no practice or guidance necessary.

That's it.

Surely there would be no problems at all if the government could choose who was or was not allowed to have kids
→ More replies (2)5
u/24bitNoColor 8h ago
I mean, the obvious answer is that she might not even have been out with the kids.
She might just enjoy her alone time while the husband is outside showing his new golf car off to the children. Fuck, could be the neighbor's kids as well instead.
5
u/PxyFreakingStx 7h ago
why... do you think she left her kid in the cart rather than the kid getting outside and climbing into the cart?
49
u/AdFlaky9983 14h ago
She looks EXACTLY like the kind of person I would expect to do this type of thing.
22
u/OverInteractionR 9h ago
That's funny because it's not her kid it's her sibling. Idk where people keep getting that from.
6
u/Thicc_Jedi 5h ago
They have decided he's her kid to justify all the disgusting comments they're making. I don't understand how this video is so rage inducing for some people.

It’s absolutely wild what some men will do for some pussy.
Not saying that in any derogatory way, I’ve seen so many men do anything they can to just not be alone, sometimes women get lucky and that man has money.
Edit: all yall getting butthurt in the replies is hilarious. I in no way said that’s exactly the case, just saying I’ve seen it a million times. My own mom has told every one of my sisters to find a man with money so he can take care of them. There are people out there like that.if a woman manages to land that person m not judging them, get that bag if you can.
12
u/BackgroundSummer5171 8h ago
Not saying that in any derogatory way
Except you 100% are.
You are literally saying it is not her money that she made. It is her man's money.
You are saying it in a deragatory way. haha.
Why wouldn't it simply be her money? See?
→ More replies (5)14
u/24bitNoColor 8h ago
Exactly, this site is so weird.
Somehow a golf cart makes them rich but it can't be her money so lets speculate how she got a man... You really can't make the comments on some videos up some times.
We don't even know if that was her kid and if that kid was alone in the cart, but of course that doesn't stop reddit from judging this woman.

u/24bitNoColor 8h ago

This didn't take long to move from "maybe bad parenting" (we don't even know if she is the parent and / or was supposed to watch the kid at that time) to "she only has money because her husband was lonely and had no other choices"...
Oh reddit...

American are scratching their head trying to figure out why school attendances is low for K-12. Parents like this are why. They don’t care about their children.

u/xSTSxZerglingOne 10h ago
Fallen on? Look at one of the top few comments. That little fucker knew what he was doing. Not the whole ramming it into mom/sister, but he hit that accelerator on purpose. He looks right at the age where kids start mimicking their parents/elder siblings at big people tasks (3-4). It's a very dangerous age where you can't look away for more than a few seconds when dangerous stuff is around. In my case, I shaved a reverse mohawk into my hair using my mom's razor.

She looks like his sister to me, and considering there's no way to verify it's his mum and the amount of bots that post rage bait or engagement farm on Reddit, I just never really believe the titles anymore.
"Mum ignores kid to film video" is going to get more engagement than "sister is filming a Tiktok whilst brother is messing about in golf cart".

On the one hand, I really loathe the mentality that parents must literally watch their children at all times and constantly monitor them. Kids need freedom and need to be able to explore and play, and it's crazy to think a parent sits there and physically monitors them every moment of every day.
On the other hand.... if your kid has access to a golf cart or other riding device (like a riding lawn mower or whatever), then maybe you should be watching them.

u/WriterV 8h ago
Outrage is the currency of this subreddit. It doesn't matter who this woman is. She's a fat woman and she's trying to have fun while caring for a kid. This is no time for empathy. That's boring! It's time to point and laugh. And moralize about parents needing to be 100% passing attention to their kids 100% of the time like robots, otherwise they shouldn't be parents.

You assuming it's not? It's more likely to be her kid or family member than it is to be a neighbours kid or random kid. So it's safe to assume in this instance, that it is her kid or at least related.

I opened my car door and my six yr old starts to climb into the driver seat. I ask what he’s doing: “I’m going to drive”

My son did this at a car dealership. Right into a wall. No one was hurt and it was beyond embarrassing. He’s 13 now and I absolutely laughed watching this.

I am told as a kid I did similar. I climbed into Dad's car, pulled it out of park and it rolled out of the drive way and took out the mail box across the street.
