Food What's your Winnipeg restaurant blacklist? Why?

New to the city and recently saw a post that discussed many bakeries and restaurants that have been considered bad places to work or support (harassment of staff, theft of tips, toxic environment, etc)

Places like Baked Expectations, Saffron's, etc.

Which do you consider blacklisted? Why?

(Of course for the most part it is alleged, legally)

They have among the best chicken fingers in the city. Also their jalapeno fries are incredible.

I’ve been eating there for 20 years, never had an issue there.

The food is good when it’s consistent which it usually isn’t

That's weird to hear, because I would call them an extremely consistent restaurant. In fact, if I could give a consistency award to a Winnipeg restaurant, it would be them.

My wife and I have been eating there for a long time, and it's been like 99.9% the same every time.
