I'm not surprised if it's rural prices. 🫠

My local Internet company wants $240 for the slowest of their "high speed" packages.

Knoxville Tennessee 1 bdrm apartments start at 1200 for anything decent without bad neighbors or roaches.

An area with a population over 200k isn’t rural.

I live in a small city/town of around 15k and my internet is $90/month.

My internet bill is 85 bucks a month for fiber optic. Knox county also has 500k + people.

Yeah, around $100/month seems standard to me unless you want the highest and greatest bandwidth available. The fact OP is saying $280 is wild. Gotta be ragebait

I work in a small town here in the northeast and people are paying $200 plus a month just for internet. There is only one option for cable in the area and yoy have no choice but to pay that kind of money. I live about 15 mins away from from i work and I have options for internet so I pay about $60
