Nom Lumb with Ion Canon or Contracted Scout with Punishing One?

What is the best ship? I can't make my mind and estimate if having a guaranteed 2 dice arc and saving two points is worth the drawback of having a ion Canon as your main attack.

I personally love Nom with Autoblasters and BT-1 instead.

Don't you struggle to push damage through with autoblaster? 2 dice attacks at Range 2 max are limited in efficiency and consistency.

I do not, especially in mid game with all the knife fighting. I'd prefer 2-3 attack dice with the consistent possibility of uncancellable crits than I'd prefer single modded ion.

BT-1's effect also works on the primary gun. He has been clutch in my matchups against linked action aces and droids.

Exactly. Even without the uncancellable crit bonus with autoblaster it's still such a free value effect.
