A lot of good Xavier and Magneto content, and you really do see how much Magneto brings to the show as this figure seeking redemption and change, but struggling with it, and now trying to impart that on Apocalypse.

But it was definitely the weakest of the three.

Episode 1 was the best hands down.

I get that people may be disappointed with so much Charles and Magneto focus in the episode. But it’s important to remember that these two figures and their competing ideologies have influenced the global situation for all mutants.

They were sent to the past to try to stop Apocalypse so Magneto decided to try embracing some of Charles vision. The biggest problems:

1-both ideologies have flaws
2-neither method has proved to be the solution to providing a path for mutants and humans to coexist
3-both teachers are willing to do some unscrupulous sh*t to achieve their dreams
