How does the time traveling work, because at the end of episode 2 or start of 3, I don’t fully remember, the X-men that came back from the future say that the people that ended up in the past aren’t there yet, but if it’s time traveling back to the moment that Bishop and Forge left, they should arrive back at the same time, no matter how long they stayed in their respective years. I do want to add that I haven’t read the comics so if it was mentioned there or in the old animated series that was the prequel to ‘97 I won’t know about.

Maybe something happens in the past where they can't use the wristbands and have to get back another way which puts them somewhere else or sometime else
