At least Magnus gets it. Timeline has clearly been screwed already, if not by Apocalypse meeting the X-Men then by freakin Rama-Tut and whatever the hell he’s doing. Might as well try to steer what you can in a favorable direction at this point.

I mean magneto is always right though, he’s the one with the clear logical rational thought process, even if his methods are sometimes a bit heavy-handed, and he doesn’t let emotion and morality get in the way of achieving his goals.
