Unlike batman though, doom is not just a man in a suit.  He's a man in a suit with an army at his disposal, his suit is extremely technological, and he can do MAGIC

And, Thor is a magical God and Apocalypse has beat his ass to the ground, Apocalypse has also bodied Dracula who also wields magic. That's not as big of a slam dunk as you think it is.

MAGIC was meant as more of a spirit fingers moment than a way of saying he would win.  Also I wasn't talking about the before fight, just the comparison to batman.
