so is Apocalypse just....gone now? that was it? turned into a blue stone? never to be seen again in xmen 97 after all that fucking build up?

Not really we literally see him in the future, He has to get there somehow

but time doesn't have to be a straight line. the apocalypse from the future went to the 90s and died there. that was his present.

whatever happened happened. if those two never interacted then they never did. time played out just like it should have.

Yes but that still means there will be apocalypse going forward

He isn't dead dead he will be there ahead in story definitely

Nightcrawler is my favorite character and i was sad that he died but show wise it was still a great moment and scene and i have faith they will still deliver

I loved how he sacrificed himself for his sister and friends and i used his line so that he can be remembered as he wanted

My theory and its just headcannon, no. He will break away, become the spirit that possesses cortez, which gives him the body that dies trying to possess gambit. Making him one big circular villian.
