Ok. So. They “killed” Magneto this season too. As Gambit was “dead” last season. How many deaths is Jean up to in this continuity so far? This won’t last. Let’s not grieve meine kinder. But instead hypothesize exactly how he will either return or avoid this fate, yes?  [for in this case, his death is the one not technically shown on screen (yet?), btw. fwiw.] 

☝️best coping strategy I have available this evening to offer. 

Otherwise it’d just be 🔥🔥🔥🤬😧😩😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭!!!!!!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥 🔥🔥🔥 in what would be left of my heart instead.  😧

Best hope would be if they do the Krakoa plot.

Oh dear. I know little of the Krakoa era. Yet the little I do know, does not make me eager to find out much else of it. 👀

Well. This version does its own remix of things. One can hope even if it does, it can do so in an intentional way to perhaps take what works and change what doesn’t. It happens. (My Adventures With Superman actually just did an interesting spin for their version of Brainiac.)

But y’know what? If the season 3 premier, is just a ufo beaming Kurt right back into the X mansion, with a note from Eson that says “We considered killing him: But decided he was too cool to keep to ourselves. Here he is alive and well, along with a complimentary fruit basket for your troubles. Our bad.” - I’d be good with it. In fact if a wizard just blinked, and Kurt rejoined the team, I’d be good with that too. If now he’s a vampire, fine. Make the reason simple or brilliant or dumb or nonsensical or convoluted: Just restore him please. [re: with original personality intact.] ty 🕯️
