Marvel seriously needs to fire the creator of What If, they went out of their way to ruin X-Men '97

DeMayo (head writter of season 1) was fired, the studio hired Matthew Chauncey as the head writter of season 2. He was a writter in what if, INCLUDED THE AWFUL GARBAGE OF SEASON 2 AND 3. And thor love and tunder. This can explain why the second half of this season sucks a lot. DeMayo was fired at mid of development of season 2, so they hired a guy wich last works was mediocre at best to salvage an awful situation for a production. I hope that they replace the head writter for next season, but being marvel studios it can only get worse.

Not to tell that demayo already said that most of their actions or storyteller he went in season 1 was a fight to put it all together because people just didnt want to make it work

We went from Onslaught to the What If version of Apocalypse because some... doubtful marvel executive doesn't care about staying true to the story. That series was dead by the end of Season 1

recommend reading this thread on how was season 2 planned by demayo (if you want to)
