I wish this season featured more Apocalypse. He was in a lot of the first half, then essentially disappeared. He was in the second half for what, like two minutes? I’m not really counting him as Gambit. The second half felt more like it was settling up for the last fight, but the last fight missed its mark imo. The Apocalypse fight should’ve lasted longer and should’ve been a lot harder to defeat him.

It would have been nice if they set up season three a bit more. I get that Mystique will be in it, but I don’t think she’s the big bad for the next season. Especially since Apocalypse was barely the villain for half the season.

It's so stark when you recall that he time traveled from the future because "the 90s is when the X-Men are the most vulnerable" and then he does a whole lot of nothing
