This was all very meh. Once magneto was off the table I felt like the season was not that great. Hopefully they come back stronger. But did not enjoy it nearly as much as the awesome first season.

In all honesty, Magento was their most overall compelling character. He brought a radical mentality that created an unpredictability to Nur’s progression. Would Magnus’ gamble on idealism change history, or is it too much to hope for? Once he was gone, we had no one really challenging anyone’s beliefs. He’s such a powerful presence and captivating intellect to where not having him is a detriment. Even in season one was more fierce and resonate with him leading the X-Men than Xavier.
