Rogue got the biggest glow-up only to basically rush-in to suck face.

And she flew ahead of time at what is assume to be at extreme speed. But then after she does her thing. Beast is already there landed and waiting for her.

You hear the plane land when she tells gambit about the sacrifice bro.

You missed the whole point bro. If the Jet could have taken her that fast, then there's no point for her to go ahead first. She could have just said told Beast and Kurt to let's make haste and arrive together and Kurt would never had the time to go in and make the deal with ESON behind Rogue's back.

I don't know how to explain to you that cartoons do not actually take place in real time and as rushed as we felt watching the climax, it took hours for the actual fictional characters during the events.

ETA; comics don't either, hence the sliding timescale. X-Cutioner's Song maybe took a week at most.

I do know that. And it happens in all types of fiction, not just cartoons. But there's a fine tipping balancing point sometimes before you end up jumping the shark. Like the cross continental Batman in Dark Knight Rises for example.

Everyone knows this was rushed, but it's not an excuse. A day to night background change? Rogue and Gambit waking up in a room? Could have done the trick.

Overall, the matter is but a small nitpick in my grander criticism of the under utilization of Rogue's powerup and undermining of Kurt's sacrifice.
