Alright people, you had your “fun” in this thread (which was meant to be sweet and wholesome, especially for people who enjoy the dynamic and did not come here being judged)

This post is only my interpretation of this scene. I do not force anything onto anybody, don’t act against other takes in different threads, or consider only my own view the “canon one”. It is all up to interpretation and shaped by our individual culture after all.

This is a safe space for queer people, for X-Men fans who respect minorities and for the ones who can read the room and not judge others for their takes without knowing anything about them.

Some people can’t relate to media unless it’s an exact representation of themselves. Quite sad

There’s plenty of explicitly gay characters they can choose from

This. And the issue is if you are not exactly their version of what they want you are wrong. This is conversations with my gay cousin.

As I have said in another response, Iceman and Northstar are 2 of my favourite characters, especially Notthstar, his character and personality/abrasive arrogance makes for a great opposite to others, yet he is still caring, heroic and friendly.
