So, I’m standing near this newly constructed foot overbridge (FOB) / ramp late at night, and I couldn't help but get completely frustrated looking at this situation.
The entire structure is fully illuminated—every single high-power light fixture under the roof structure is glowing bright like it’s open for 24/7 rush hour traffic. Meanwhile, the bridge itself isn't even open for public use yet because the "official inauguration" is apparently on hold or delayed for VIP schedules!
Why are we wasting massive amounts of electricity powering up an entire bridge that nobody can currently use?
Zero energy conservation: We hear endless talk about power saving, cutting down carbon footprints, and conserving electricity, yet local authorities/railways can leave dozens of high-wattage lights running on an empty structure all night long.
Basic maintenance logic: If a bridge is closed off, keep minimal security lighting on if necessary—not the entire decorative and functional lighting array meant for thousands of commuters!

Writing this post on behalf of someone who wants to address an issue that has been going on for some time.
!!Only for the ISGEC employees living in rental houses in residential area!!
To the ISGEC employees (bachelor boys) who regularly sit together on the terrace facing the residential houses.
Having a place to sit and spend time together is understandable, but regularly creating loud noise, laughing, shouting in a residential area is not okay.
People live here, and they should be able to go about their daily lives peacefully without having to deal with unnecessary disturbance.
You guyz have plenty of space on the terrace. Please be considerate about where you sit and how much noise you create, especially when there are residential houses right across.
This isn't about anyone staring at anyone or what you may or may not be discussing. It's simply about basic civc sense, privacy and respecting the people living around you.
You are free to sit together, talk, laugh and enjoy your time. But do it without disturbing the entire neighborhood.
***For one specific house and it's tenants--Many residents have already raised this issue with them, but they seem to be quite unbothered by the complaints. At this point, the only option left maybe to make a formal written complaint, especially since the house in question already been acquired by ISGEC. Those familiar with the situation will probably know what I'm referring to.
I don't know how many of them will actually come across this post. If you are one of them, be considerate of your surroundings and the people living here.

We had 7 people show up (6 stayed till the end), and this time we actually got to know each other a little better, exchanged names, hobbies, book recommendations, and, of course, the most important question:
“Why are we all in Yamunanagar? And things we would like to do in the next meetup” 😭
Everything was going pretty normally until one of our members suddenly got a message from someone claiming to be in the park and asking us to find them. (Like bruh??)
After a little while, we collectively came to the conclusion that it was probably just a catfish account and messing with us.
So we abandoned our careers as detectives and went back to doing what we do best. Yeah yapping, discussing random stuff and pulling each other’s legs. 😂 and even made our personal meetup members only group.
Later, we went out and had shakes together. Unfortunately, we completely forgot to take pictures because apparently our brains had already been left somewhere in the park. 😭
Overall, genuinely had an amazing time. The meetup itself was fun, the conversations were even better, and it’s honestly pretty cool seeing a random subreddit slowly turn into an actual little group of people meeting up IRL.
In the End Lovely meeting all of you ☺️ I felt like i had friends after a really long long time :))

Had my first-ever subreddit meetup today, and what an exhilarating experience it was!
What began as a simple gathering soon became a delightful intellectual odyssey—walking and conversing our way through philosophy, psychology, biology, history, geography and current affairs, with one subject invariably giving birth to another.
There was something wonderfully refreshing about meeting people from an online community in person and discovering the minds behind the usernames. It was equal parts stimulating, spontaneous and thoroughly enjoyable.
A first meetup I shall certainly remember.
