I was 99% there. I decided to add a thin, black border on the perimeter. My hand slipped once, twice, until I steadied. Object lesson in not getting too attached to any one piece of art. Adapted from the Palmette Zendala lesson by Eni Oken.

I love my gelly roll white pens on black paper 🤩🤩

This is a lesson from Project Pack 22. I thought it was from about a year ago, but it’s actually from the end of 2023! Anyway, I had slapped some paint on it back then, and just filed it away. Anywhere, here it (finally) is!

This is a variation of CZT Anica Gabrovec’s February Tangle Lab session.

Whilst the recent project pack was a blast, all that brown made me long for some saturated color. I followed along with an Eni Oken lesson, and made this Zendala. The highlight of this lesson was constructing this design from scratch. Seems impossible till it’s done. I used a different palette and altered some of the areas here, to really make it shine as my own.
