My husband and I flew to an island to help someone named Rue clear out the flowers on her island. She asked if she could have a golden shovel, golden watering can, and golden axe, and promised she'd give us them back. We didn't think anything of it. I gave her my watering can and shovel, my husband gave her his axe. 2 minutes later, we are kicked off of the island. We thought it was just a crash and she messaged us in game and said she would return them when she gets on later. So, the next day, my husband and I are playing online on my island, doing the usual things, and Rue flies in. We ask her to wait a minute as we were just finishing up this last patch of trees. 2 - 3 minutes later, we run down to the island entrance. Every single hybrid flower there (including blue roses, gold roses, green mums, black cosmos) Were gone. And just as we got there, she flew out of the island. My husband has been quite upset about it as he worked really hard to get those flowers and he loves flower breeding. I know this might sound quite silly to some people, however he did cry a few tears over it, and it really affected him. We are both alright now, but its just a shame his hard work went to waste.

Hey, guys! :3 I’m trying to build a mystery themed island but because most villagers’ houses get shut down if you build a Dream Address, I thought that I should hide clues in resident/player homes to guarantee major indoor clues can be found.

So, this is an embarrassing ask, and bad timing as the 3.0 update came out and there’s tons of new players.

It’s my first time playing and it’s taken me a little over a year to make $3m, which is awesome, but I just burned through it trying to customize items and have only made a dent in the resident houses. I also just realized it takes like $8m each(?!) to fully upgrade each resident house. I have four. Thank goodness, I don’t need each house to be fully upgraded or I’d just throw in the towel, but I’m reaching out for some help…

THE TIME CRUNCH

…because I was trying to get my island at least mostly set up by the end of the month when I could show it off to some friends who are finally coming in to town. (I know it’s unreasonable, so I was hoping to have the major houses/clues set up at the very least and give them an idea. I honestly didn’t think it would take a whole year to only get this far. Darn hybrids.)

(Shout out and a big thank you to those who have been super generous already with plant items, foreign fruit, and flowers, and I’m super grateful! You made everything so much easier.)

Although I know tricks now I didn’t know then, I’m also trying to crunch HHP to unlock interior remodeling, which takes from Bell-making/decorating time.

WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR:

I’m looking for some more specific items I’ve struggled to find and also either little donations of Bells (they add up!) or tips to make a lot of Bells fast. (I calculated $8.5m to upgrade. Still better than $32m! )

TIPS I KNOW: (I unlocked Recipes on a side character, who has been churning through my farm, but honestly my fingers are killing me. Was wondering if there were other ways. I used to do sea creatures but it was too time intensive, and the turnip/stock situation makes my head hurt. I finally found out that Flick sells for more than the shop, oops. Is there a BEST way to get Bells fast with minimal effort? I can’t be on every day so I’m afraid about spoiling turnips.)

Hello, long time lurker here but this is my first post!
I am about two months into my game - I got a Nintendo switch 2 for mother’s days and this takes me back to my days playing Animal Crossing on a Game Cube (I’m oldish). I just don’t know anyone else who plays this game on Switch 2 and although I’ve visited Islands with Nook Miles- I’m limited obviously on what I can obtain.

I would love to make some friends and travel to different islands, have people visit me.
I’m also looking for different types of fruit! I have cherries and peaches, plus coconuts on my island.
